{Other NOTES from the DUGOUT}

Congratulations to Mrs. Truxel who announced her retirement this week to everyone!  She and Maggie will be seen doing their happy dances this second half of the school year!  So proud (and jealous) of both of these ladies.

Winter Carnival: "It takes a Village (of Snow People)":  If each classroom can bring in their snowman accessories next week (or when the snow is soft enough), to help with overall clean up of our snow village out front, that would be most appreciated.  Much courage was shown by four 7th grade boys from Cole Valley Christian School who drove to our school to bring goodies and a verbal apology to the 4 classrooms most affected by the destroyed snowmen.  Their apologies meant a lot to our students.

Student Passes:  This week seemed better, thank you. We will continue to ask for passes and kids may not exit the cafe into the hallways unless we have an adult with them or they have a pass.

SBAC Schedule (Grades 3-5) was handed out earlier this week.  If you need a copy, see an error, or have any feedback, please bring it by soon.

Staff Assignments and/or Room Changes:  It is about that time of the year when the 'planning for next year' will begin.  If you are seeking a change of assignment, have new interests, want a room change, or who knows what else, please drop me a note, set up a time to meet, or catch me when you can.  I'd like to hear from you by Friday, February 26th.

SBAC 'Designated Supports':  (Grades 3-5) - please turn in any student names on the Designated Supports worksheet ASAP.  At the latest, I'd like it Monday.  Please and Thank you.
