Certified Staff Only:  I will be signing off on your goals and self assessment and putting them in your mailbox.  Just remember all goals and self assessment are due to me by October 29th.  If you need more review time, please schedule a time to meet with me.

Classified Staff Reflection Time:  I will be meeting with all classified staff on Monday after school. I will be scheduling times to meet with all classified staff and any direct supervisors in the next week or so.

Wonders' Program Online Tool:  If you are interested in learning how to use the 'share' between reading team members/teachers/special ed, let Carrie/Ernest know to get this on an upcoming agenda.

Espanol Rapido (Grades 2-4) Teacher Hired! Tricia Jackson was offered the Spanish job but won't be able to start for another week as we wait for board approval.  Times are set for every Tuesday and Thursday between 10:45-2:50.  A schedule is posted in the faculty room.  First day will be October 20th.

Positive Action (Counseling Lesson) will be taught in all classrooms based on the lessons you chose on either Thursday or Fridays (whichever day you signed up for).  A printed schedule is in the faculty room.  Laura Pierce will be the facilitator and a box of materials should be in your rooms. A permission form/survey went out to all 4th/5th grade kids to collect and give Laura on her first day.  An introductory letter is printed to go home with all students as well.

Work Room:  Slips will be added upstairs with a note for volunteers to check upstairs too. I am sorry I didn't think about the upstairs work room.  Hoping the work room volunteer system is starting to flow/work well for us all.

5th Grade Ambassadors Our future leaders will find out which 'club' they will serve on next week and then it will begin!  Most Ambassadors/Clubs will 'work' from 11:45-12:15.  I have a few students who applied to be a 'teachers aide'.  If you have something a 5th grader could come help you or a student with one day a week from 11:45-12:15 let me know.

Take the poll on the right side of the blog page.
