Parent Teacher Conference To Do's:
Inside Day Schedule: There was some questions today about specific times for Inside Day as it is different than 'normal' days. Please see this link to confirm your 'duty time' and or 'student lunch times'.
My Schedule: I will be attending my Project Leadership Team Meetings Monday through Wednesday. I have asked Jodi/Donna to be the 'go to' if you need anything and they will help decide whether to contact me or consult/seek help from another Principal in the district. Thursday and Friday we have a training in the district for all Admin. Team members from 10:00-2:00 so surely you'll not see me much next week. As always, you can email or text anytime but I do know we'll have no phones/tech. at times.
Writing Prompt Time: Each grade level is to administer the persuasive writing prompt prior to November 12. Each team will have a half day to score these as a team. The schedule will be: Nov. 17 (Grade 5 Morning / Grade 3 Afternoon); Nov. 18 (Grade 2 Morning / Grade 1 Afternoon); Nov. 19: (Grade 4 Morning / Kinder Afternoon). If you see conflicts, please let me know.
Staffing Update: We received several great applicants for our Special Ed. Para position. And then got news that a family will be moving from PLMS which will leave a Para without a student. Rather than hire a new person, we have decided to utilize Jana Sylvia from PLMS. Jana will be joining us as soon as the student officially moves. We will welcome her to our BRMES team soon! Counselor interviews are in process. Stay tuned for that update. The last I heard we had 3 qualified applicants!
Teacher's Aide: I still have 2 more 5th grade students who want to be someone's aide from 11:45-12:15 one day a week. They can do prep work or whatever you'd need in your classroom. Anyone?
Art Questions: Please help out our Creative Arts Team by taking the poll to the right.
