{Other NOTES from the DUGOUT}
Staff Meeting: I have postponed our November staff meeting from this coming Monday due to conference week and the need to meet with the Math team. Math team was added to this next week Monday to help set protocol for the MCOMP/MCAP.
Book Fair! The library must be locked up for the next week whenever Mrs. Loper is not in there so have your keys ready if you are heading to the copy room.
Thankful Feathers: Thanks to our awesome ERR staff/kids, please help fill out a paper feather and put it in their mailbox to be displayed on their wall. Showcase it to kids when you walk by!
Writing Prompt Time: Each grade level is to administer the persuasive writing prompt prior to November 12. Please be prepared at grade level meetings next week with me to tell me your scoring plan and which day(s) you are giving the prompt just so I know if everyone is ready.
Staffing Update:
Art (again): Based on the blog poll last week, the majority of classroom teachers forgot they had art curriculum and are not making time for art. Perhaps this could be a good 2nd quarter goal. Talk it over with your team and see what you can do!
Re-Teach PLAYGROUND Expectations/Rules: Until we have more clear cut positive expectations in place, please take some time within EACH classroom to re-teach these playground expectations and have conversations about why they are unsafe and are our expectations (anyone up for modeling appropriate playground behaviors and videoing it?):
