{Other NOTES from the DUGOUT}
Homework (please) for ALL STAFF: Will you all consider helping me out with a bulletin board idea? All I need is ONE SPORTS PHOTO of YOU, from your childhood. Come on, we all have some random sports photo of ourselves from our youth. I promise I'll give them back to you. Please be sure your name is on the back. I need your photo by April 29. Please! DIG one out or call your families to find just one. (any extracurricular photo of you would work - dance, ballet, basketball, soccer, ski, etc).
MCOMP/MCAP: As soon as these results are entered and ready, we'll get you a copy printed!
Protected Book List: David found the list. It was given to your Advisory Rep. Please discuss it and turn in any edits you'd like considered.
Sunshine Team: Thanks to Felicity and Win for starting us a Sunshine Club again for any interested staff members! Directions are posted in the lounge. We are collecting $15 (or more if you wish) as a donation to this group for teh 16-17 school year. You can pay this school year or wait until the fall. Watch for an invoice!
Field Trip List: An agenda item was to look at re-aligning our field trips taken annually to better fit Common Core and to provide kids more of a variety of learning opportunities. Your Advisory Rep has the list we created and the goal is to have a 'protected field trip' list next fall that won't have duplication of locations. Let's see if we can't really connect our every day learning topics to every field trip!
Volunteer Names and Community Partners: I've emailed all classroom teachers the volunteer and community partners list (notice TWO tabs on the bottom of the document). Please check it to be sure any and all of your volunteers and any business/community partners you've had are on the list so I can think of a way to recognize them. If you need help with the document, let me know. (It will save automatically).
Leadership Premiums for CERTIFIED Staff (excluding Admin and Counselor): I will put a sheet in your mailbox that will be used to determine who will qualify for a leadership premium based on 15 hours beyond contract time serving on a variety of committees. If you have questions with the form, let me know. They are due back noon on Friday, April 29th to be considered for the leadership premium dollars.
Student Reward Events/Details till year end: Thanks to those who are excited and interested in student acknowledgement and stepping up to create some fun rewards for our students. I will remind you each week of what is coming and if you need to draw for any winners. Here is what is slated till year end if you want to take note:

Staffing Update:
- NEW Number Update: We have enrolled enough new students in 1st grade for next year and were granted approval for three teachers in 1st grade! Congrats (and much appreciation for their patience) to Lesley Doane who will stay in 1st grade; and to Alice Brown who will move to 2nd grade! This means we will be interviewing soon for our 3rd grade opening to join Ryan, Sara, & Jamie.
Silent Auction Baskets (Due May 13th): I'd love to see a few more baskets get put together for our PTA. So far we have just 3. Consider talking to some others in your team/dept. to see if we can get to at least 6. Click here.
Milk Jugs: We are still collecting these...drop em off in the office!
Class List Process: Fill out your own slips when you have time. Meet as a grade level team during the next month when your team is ready to place kids into groups. When you have your slips paper clipped together into groups, please bring them to the office or my mailbox and I'll pass them on to the Specialist team. You will get them back one more time after Specialists make any edits.
4th of July Events: You've probably heard about the changes being made to the 4th of July events in McCall. The goal is to have many things to do around the community that are family friendly. It would be fun to have a BRMES booth or activity. Any interest or ideas?
