- Teacher Work Day for ALL Certified STAFF and Special Ed Para's and Library Para ~ WORK WORK WORK! /
- Class lists will be posted at 4:00 today for parents/kids
- MDEA Back to School Potluck @ 800 Sheila Lane ~ 5:00-8:00 PM (Bring Side Dish or Dessert and BYOB)
Wednesday, August 26:
- 7:45-8:00: All students outside or at breakfast ~ all duties and extras be about 5 minutes early today and ready to help wherever needed!
- 1st Day with Students! (Open House mtgs with Kindergarten kids 9:00-10:00 & 11:00-12:00)
- 9:30-10:00 1st Day of School Welcome Assembly in the Gym ~ (refer to your seating assignment)
- LUNCH TIME: Classroom teachers, please come to pick up your students at the end of your lunch time whether outside or in cafe. The 'duties' will attempt to have them lined up into teacher lines so you can just grab your line and take them to class.
- 3:00-5:30 PLCA4Kids After School Program Begins in Cafe on all school days
Thursday, August 27:
- 8:15-9:15 PTA Meeting in the Cafe'
- IRI/Fluency Testing will begin...schedule coming soon
- 8:15-8:30 Community Meeting with Principal ~ Grades K-2 in the Library
District Office Updates: Bianca's new role leaves her focus on 'staff/community needs' and Ginger's new role will keep her focus on 'students'.

- Shout out to Jamie, Sara, Abby, and Honey for their positive and realistic thinking in our first team meeting ~ and willingness to think outside of the box
- Love the creative idea (based on data) team meeting I was invited to with Ernest, Anne, and Brandi! Wow, I love this kind of team effort.
- Annika, Carissa, Sara, Nicole, Stacy, and Jake for their efforts to help me with advance planning of our new Special Ed Team! Wow - what a team! Plus, we have a new conference room we'll utilize for meetings!
- Carissa and Crystal for their insights in the 'duty schedule'.
- Traci, Evonne, Sean, & Bianca for their willingness to help me problem solve the specials schedule - I couldn't have done it without you all!
- No doubt we're all PITCHING IN and HAVING A BALL as we prepare the building for a new school year. A special thank you to Jodi and Donna who are attempting to keep up with my tasks, ideas, and making me laugh and smile daily! I am so excited about all of you and how much fun we'll have together this year!
